Managing property doesn’t have to feel like a second job.

A few rentals can mean dates in your head, documents in folders, rent in a spreadsheet and tenant conversations somewhere else entirely. RenteRoo brings the important parts together — and we’re inviting a small group of landlords in Wales to help shape how it works.

Is this for me?

Probably, if your paperwork lives in a spreadsheet and a few folders.

Nobody hands you a manual when you become a landlord — there’s just suddenly a licence, a register, certificates and deadlines. You don’t need to be technical to use this. One property is fine. So is a dozen.

This is probably for you if…

  • You manage your own rental properties
  • You use spreadsheets, reminders, folders — or a mixture of all three
  • You want something simple rather than enterprise software
  • You're happy to tell us when something isn't working

Not ready to test yet?

  • You can join for updates and nothing else
  • You decide how involved you want to be, and you can change your mind
  • There's no sales call, because we don't have a sales team
  • We'll get in touch as the right things open up
  • Got fifteen or twenty? We’re built around handling a handful really well at the moment — tell us anyway, because what you need next is the thing we most want to hear.
What you’ll get in early access

Three ways RenteRoo takes the load off.

Certificates, dates, tenancy paperwork, inspections and documents in one place — and your tenant in there too. Here’s what that actually looks like.

Compliance

A real problem, and a blank, are not the same thing.

Gas safety certificateOverdue

18 Heol Las · expired 11 July.

Electrical certificateNeeds information

Add the expiry date so we can remind you.

Rent Smart Wales licenceNeeds information

Yours, not the property’s.

RenteRoo treats them differently. One genuinely needs attention; the others are simply information still to add. And your licence belongs to you as a landlord, not to one property.

Rent

One job a month, not one per property.

August rent reviewReady

8 expected payments to check.

18 Heol LasRent not arrived

You marked this one on 4 August.

Eight properties is one sitting, not eight tasks. RenteRoo doesn’t connect to your bank — you tell it what’s arrived, and only what you’ve said is missing becomes something to chase.

Tenants

The tenancy in one place, including them.

Invite your tenant and they can report a problem, message you and see the documents they’re entitled to — with all of it filed against the tenancy instead of sitting in your texts.

Why we’re building it

Doing it properly shouldn’t be this hard.

The responsibilities are one thing. Keeping track of every date, document, inspection, payment and conversation across your properties — while getting on with everything else — is another.

We’re landlords ourselves, and that second part is what we started RenteRoo to fix. Then we used it on our own places, which was humbling.

We didn’t want to disappear for a year building what we think landlords want, so we’re opening up early instead.

Where it’s going

We’re starting with the everyday essentials — and not stopping there. As RenteRoo grows we want it to take away more of the repetitive admin that comes with managing rental property.

The landlords who join now will influence what we simplify next.
